1. Create your private account
What you do: Sign up with your name, email and password. Request the email verification code and enter it to open your workspace.
What you get: An account with private cases. The free beta includes two cases, 30 copilot replies and three report generations across your account. No payment card is required.
2. Describe one product and add documents
What you do: Enter your company, product and what its AI actually does. Upload readable PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown files: up to five per case, 1 MB each. PDF files can contain up to 50 pages. Remove passwords, secrets and unnecessary personal information first.
What you get: A saved case, private originals and readable extracted text. Check the extracted text before relying on it. Scanned images and unreadable files are rejected; OCR and live product testing are not included.
3. Work through the facts with the copilot
What you do: Ask the copilot to explain your documents, identify missing information or suggest questionnaire answers. Open its source quotes and check them. Add useful suggestions to your draft, then review each answer yourself.
What you get: Plain-language explanations and document references where available. A suggestion never changes your confirmed answers automatically. Unknown remains unknown; the copilot cannot inspect your live app or prove that a written policy is implemented.
4. Confirm your answers and generate
What you do: Open Facts, save your answers and confirm that they reflect what you know. You may leave answers unknown. Then select Generate report and keep the page open while it finishes.
What you get: An automated report with a summary, priority actions, evidence observations, missing facts and source register. A screening result needs complete relevant answers and a supported use case. Potential prohibited or high-risk uses, model providers and complex exceptions receive an unresolved gap report. Completing the form does not guarantee a classification. An additional automated check compares narrative claims with your evidence. There is no Merron reviewer queue.
5. Download, act and return
What you do: Download your PDF, address the listed actions and keep the supporting original documents. Return to the same case to update answers or documents, reconfirm and generate a new version when needed.
What you get: A dated PDF with the rules version, recorded answers, source quotes and report identifier. Older reports remain available and are marked when the case has changed. Downloads do not use AI allowance. The PDF is an automated readiness record, not certification or evidence that an authority has accepted your system.
If something does not finish
Your saved facts and previous reports remain available. Failed AI attempts are returned to your account allowance; interrupted requests can take up to four minutes to release. Refresh the case, check the message and retry. Shared daily beta capacity may pause AI generation until the next UTC day. Saved work and downloads remain accessible.
Deleting a document removes its original and extracted text from the active case. Quotes already saved in chats and reports remain until you delete the case. Deleting a case removes its documents, chat and reports from the active database. Download anything you need first. Creating and then deleting a case does not restore your two-case beta allowance.
